Yesterday, I decided that I would attempt to make Tristan sleep in his crib during daytime naps. After 3 minutes of protest-crying (I can finally tell the difference in his cries!), he fell sound asleep in his nursery. I had to check on him ten times to make sure I wasn't in a fantasy...it was liberating and exhilarating to have the living room all to myself, knowing he was sleep and secure in his crib. Now I have more time to do grownup things!
