Dec 1, 2010, Tristan Dea Marshman completed a 36 hour long trip from the womb into the world. My contractions began on 11/30 at 1:20am and I said to Joe," Are you ready to be a dad?" 20hrs later, 130 contractions later, we were admitted to the 5 star birthing hotel that is CPMC.
On Dec 1, 1:25pm, after 2 hrs of pushing, baby Tristan entered the world, and he was a sight for exhausted eyes. I swear, unbiased, he was THE most perfect and beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life! I was so prepared to love a bald funky looking baby, but fully excited to love this perfect gorgeous baby with a full head of hair!!
